Species Unknown expresses the state of mind of the modern nomad.
It questions the concept of nationality and begs the question as to whether other values
– such as acceptance and the feeling of belonging – are more fitting for modern definitions of identity.

Species Unknown, much like me, is the result of a journey through hybrid cultures. It focuses on my own personal experiences and impressions of a dual nationality upbringing, brazilian/german, and my migratory experience in early adulthood.
